ADL's Top 10 Issues Affecting Jews As we begin to face the challenges of 2007, it is striking that the top 10 issues most affecting the Jewish community in the last year will likely continue to have a profound effect on Jewish life in the next 12 months. Israel remains threatened by Hamas and Hezbollah. Around the world, we see no abatement in anti-Semitism. A sense of the continuing challenge came last Friday, when Iran once again expressed its determination to make Holocaust denial a centerpiece of its foreign policy by opposing the U.N. resolution condemning Holocaust denial.
