The Israeli Antiques Authority (IAA) uncovered during an excavation at Kfar Kana (north of Nazareth) a city from the time of the Kingdom of Israel and remnants of Jewish settlements from the Roman period identified as ''Cana in Galilee.'' (Guysen.Israƫl.News)
Archeologists also found "hidden shelters" - underground bunkers linked by short tunnels - which were apparently built before the Great Revolt of the Jews against the Romans in 66 C.E.
